CRICKET CRANES HEAD TO JINJA FOR A BOOTCAMP.

Cricket Cranes Start Training in Jinja

A training squad of 21 players entered in a 10 day boot camp that started yesterday in Jinja.

According to Uganda Cricket Association,the squad will use the camp to shape the team culture, physical tests ahead of a very busy 2024. 

The camp will also be used to select a squad that will travel for a training camp in India as the Cricket Cranes prepare for the World Cup in June. 

The squad is missing Alpesh Ramjani, Ronak Patel and Dinesh Nakrani who are back home and included fast bowler Innocent Mwebaze and Muhammad Shaf who get their 1st call ups with the senior team. 

The camp will be managed by interim Head Coach Jackson Ogwang.
