Ihefu takes Moses Basena as Coach

Former Uganda Cranes coach Moses Basena has joined Tanzanian premier league side Ihefu as the new head coach less than a month after leaving Uganda Cranes job.

Basena joins Ihefu Fc as a direct replacement for Tanzianian Zuber Katwira who was relieved of his duties following a dismal start for the club.

For starters,Ihefu Fc have collected only six points from possible 15 leaving them eighth on a table.

Basena holds huge coaching experience having spent many years as Micho's assistant coach on Uganda National Football team the Cranes.

He has also coached clubs like KCCA FC,Villa,URA,Simba,the Saints among others.The last time he coached a club was 2021 at Sunrise in Rwanda.

Basena is expected to be on touchline this weekend as Ihefu host Coastal Union in a league game.
